Following their debut album, Bad Time Stories, late last year, Swiss pop-punk quartet Give Me A Reason are back with their latest EP, Vice Versa, dropping October 23. Featuring vocalist Mattia Di Paolo, guitarists Giuly Luongo and Max Welti, and drummer Darren Bisto, this Zurich-based four-piece decided to reshuffle the cards and approach the world in a new colour with their latest release, inspired by the likes of State Champs, Neck Deep, All Time Low, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Stand Atlantic.
After a successful writing and recording session in Los Angeles with Pastel Recording Company's Blake Roses, Give Me A Reason released their title track, 'Sad', in July with a music video filmed at Germany's Supercandy pop-up museum. Another two hit singles – 'Funny' and 'Blue' – were released over the following months, with all three singles topping the band's Spotify profile. Vice Versa will also showcase the band's three newest tracks, 'Color', 'Blur', and 'Bye Bye'.
Just in time for Friday's release, I caught up with Di Paolo and Luongo to discuss the EP, their latest single, and everything fans can expect of this new era of Give Me A Reason. Watch the full interview here.
