Following on from their standalone hit single 'The Devil You Know' back in June, psychedelic hard rock quartet For The Wolves are set to release their latest single, 'Parable', on September 25. Featuring frontman Brad Andrew, guitarist Cory Cook, bassist Liam Thompson, and drummer Anthony Molyneux, Brisbane-based For The Wolves first formed as a duo in 2015 before releasing their debut, self-titled single two years later, featuring the tracks 'Fading', 'Dreams', and 'Paradise'. In late 2018, this was followed up by their four-track EP Karma, before, most recently, their standalone single 'The Devil You Know' mid-2020.
Influenced by the likes of Soundgarden, Tool, and Silverchair, For The Wolves' elemental pairing of primal drumbeats and hooky guitar riffs laid the foundation for the sonic fusion of hard rock and ambient psychedelia that now permeates their songwriting. With a shared pursuit to create original and captivating art through their musical compositions and relentlessly energetic live performances, For The Wolves are one band to keep on your radar.
In the lead up to the release of their brand new single, 'Parable', on September 25, I caught up with frontman Brad Andrew to discuss the track and everything more we can expect from the band over the coming months. Watch the full interview below.
